Point Reduction Program
At the conclusion of the course, the student's attendance is reported to the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Services (MVS) and 2 points are deducted from the student's driving record.
The total can not be reduced below zero.
You may take this course even if your driver's license is currently suspended.
You may take this course once every 5 years for point reduction.
Insurance Discount Program
In addition to the reduction of points on your license, you may also be eligible for a discount on your auto insurance.
In compliance with New Jersey Statute N.J.S.A. 17:33B-45.1 (P.L.1995, C.308), students that have less than 4 motor vehicle points (points from tickets) prior to attending this course are entitled to a mandatory 5 % discount on the base rate of auto liability, collision, and no-fault (PIP) portion of their insurance premium for a 3-year period, starting with their next renewal.
The student's insurance company MUST provide this discount unless the student has 4 or more points, or is suspended for any reason during this
3-year period.
You may take this course once every 3 years for insurance discount even if you have zero points.
